Unpacking boxes the other day I came across a copy of my article '
Out of the Archive: Challenges and Opportunities for New Scholarly Access from Old Media Collections
' published in the journal

just over a year ago. In the winter of 2009, I was just starting my position
at the University of Hawaii and did not read the journal when it came out. Now that I am in Boston, I can reflect.
